The Magic of Foliage

Neighborhood Nature

the projects

The vibrant autumn colors: Foliage is the breathtaking phenomenon where deciduous trees shed their summer greens to reveal a vibrant palette of burnt oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows. For a photographer, this transition is pure magic. Every landscape becomes a living painting.
I found myself exploring this area in the Vicentine Prealps in Northern Italy: The Path of Great Trees -(SENTIERO DEI GRANDI ALBERI)- Recoaro Mille.
The project was clear...and i could not help myself not to create a youtube video (photo montage)

This project explores the nature at our doorstep. Instead of seeking exotic landscapes, these photos celebrate the local and resilient ecosystems found in our everyday surroundings. It is an invitation to rediscover the natural world waiting just outside our front door.A project born just...walking in places nearby where I live, in Veneto region. Not just a place, many different places.

I created a youtube of a small place "The Oasis WWF Cave di Noale" is a protected 20-hectare nature oasis near Venice, Italy, transformed from former clay quarries into a wetland sanctuary.A restored area with lakes, lush marsh vegetation, and trees.Rich in birdlife, including red herons, egrets, cormorants, kingfishers,

Vibrant tulips isolated by traffic roundabouts and poppies pushing through cracked asphalt: this project is a study of urban resilience and the ephemeral. To grow through concrete is a risky existence, resulting in a life that is both remarkably strong and deeply fragile.

I caught a glimpse of these colorful corners out of the corner of my eye while driving one day, and returned later to photograph and film them. They stand as a visual metaphor for finding the strength to be vulnerable, proving that a short life is no less significant. When I returned just a few weeks later, the tulips were already gone and the poppies finished—a brief, powerful reminder to notice these fragments of life before they disappear.

Projects still ongoing

Projects in progress. Some stories take time to tell. This section is dedicated to my latest explorations—ongoing series that capture my current focus and evolving perspective.

Hands and Craftmanship

Guided by a creative mind and perfected by expert hands, the work of a craftsman is a dance of precision. It is captivating to watch an instrument take shape; as the details of its construction unfold, they transform in our minds into notes, melody, and song. That same magic lives in the furnace, where watching Murano glass being born is like witnessing a dance between fire and breath. It is a captivating transformation where liquid heat is frozen into art. We don’t just see the tools and the flame—we are witnessing the birth of a masterpiece.

This project is becoming larger integrating more hands-on artistic activities, such as pottery, jewellery and engaging even with agricultural pursuits like olive and fruits harvesting. T

This project began with a visit to the world-renowned Lipizzaner horses. While the beauty of these 'Imperial' horses is well-known—especially those of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna—their true elegance is found in the way they move. However, the most profound moments happen when children draw near; the atmosphere shifts, creating an emotional impact that is even more powerful to capture through the lens.It is in these quiet moments of connection that the photographs truly come to life.

Horses and Children

Life in the Rush

Life is defined by movement, evolution, and progress—but must we rush through it all? in a way we we risk losing our connection to the present. We often find ourselves passing through beautiful surroundings and art with our minds occupied elsewhere, forgetting to take the time we truly need. As it has been said: 'We take pictures so as not to pass through life distracted.' This project is an invitation to slow down and truly see what is right in front of us.
